First publication of this festive cantata (labelled Serenata in some sources) for alto solo and large orchestra by the Brescian composer Luigi Mancia. The work survives in several copies, testifying to a wider distribution of the music. The German composer Johann Gottfried Walter (1684 – 1748) transcribed the extensive Sinfonia of this cantata for organ and published it as Concerto del Signor Luigi Manzia. The source of this arrangement had so far not been identified.
